Overview

Sakurai Kokeshi Store has inherited the tradition of Naruko Kokeshi in both traditional and innovative ways. With a relatively young and busy workforce, we advised on mid- to long-term strategies, brand concepts, information dissemination methods, business systems, and other matters related to the expanding and changing business.

Background

Sakurai Kokeshi Store needed someone who could accompany them in their expanding and changing business from a third party point of view, for example, to prioritize the medium and long term, to re-share awareness among members of the team, and to organize the way of communicating information to the public.

Support contents

There first request was to support overseas marketing, but in order to pursue this, we organized the branding concept, advised on the synergy of multiple businesses and how to transmit information, and advised on the business structure to enable the company to run itself in the future.

Synergy

We were able to suggest an opportunity to work on mid- to long-term strategies and branding, which tend to be postponed, as well as preparations and perspectives on issues that are foreseeable in management practices in the future. As a result, the team’s confusion is reduced and the amount of time spent on essential tasks is increased.

Thoughts on Future Initiatives

Our concept of “kokeshi” have been completely changed through our involvement with people and the making of kokeshis at Sakurai Kokeshi Store. I will continue to convey this “gentle impact” to the world.
